Music has taken me on many journeys. From the age of 8, grasping folk and classical on the guitar then bluegrass on the banjo. One of my first gigs as a young teen I lit a guitar on fire and smashed an amp Hendrix style embracing the electric guitar wonderland, then was banned from the establishment! Attending Berklee Collage of Music for Film Scoring my passion for supporting film with music began. I bought a bass and gigs flowed in. Embraced John Coltrane and Ornatte Coleman. Held and read Charles Mingus charts with his Daughter. Held Charlie Parkers horns in Phil Woods house while working with Kim Parker. Lead many original world jazz projects. Enjoyed watching many of my students go out into the world and make great music. I am so grateful and appreciate this musical spiritual journey with a sincere heart. I look forward to many more interesting musical journeying.
